My wife just spoke her friend from N.O. Her and her husband (and the cats) just packed up their computers and took off for Florida which is the smart way to go. Michele is berating the maniacs who are staying behind and as one of her commenters points out Katrina at Category 5 and Andrew was "only" a 4.* Since I work in insurance, I can assure you that Andrew still scares the crap out of the entire industry.
Katrina looks like she's gonna be a real bitch.

Turns out Andrew was a 5 and Katrina's been downgraded to a 4. Thanks to Riccardo in the comments and Joseph who emailed me.
Andrew was updated some time ago to Cat. 5, after better analysis of the data.
