Jack

Heh. I almost blogged on this as well, but I'm sitting here in France and couldn't work up the energy last night.

To me, this moment, like the bobbing and weaving about the SUV and the cursing at the Secret Service agent on the slopes, is symptomatic of some deeper insecurity about admitting fault, or showing grace in moments of clumsiness. I can't remember Gerald Ford ever doing anything other than laughing off his clumsiness, but then he was an All-American football player at Michigan and probably didn't worry very much about his athletic prowess.
